SENNEBOGEN at Ligna 2017 - comprehensive solutions for timber logistics

The 7 series from SENNEBOGEN offers machines that are specially designed for handling timber for use in the log yard and in timber logistics. SENNEBOGEN is presenting the 730 E series at Ligna 2017 as an example of their Pick & Carry machine design.

The new SENNEBOGEN 730 has been specially designed for the requirements of mobile timber handling. An articulated boom behind the center of the machine ensures ideal weight distribution. Whether it involves removing round timber from the sorting strand, or to sort the ranges as necessary for further processing and handling, the machine is fitted with all-wheel travel drive and 11 m equipment length to carry out a multitude of tasks. Optimized engine control, the proven EcoMode, and well-designed air control ensure consumption values that are quite respectable. In direct comparison with the predecessor series, a reduction of up to 25% could be achieved.

Since 2007, the SENNEBOGEN Maxcab has been setting standards in the world of materials handling with its sliding door and air-sprung comfort seat. As the most obscured cab of all SENNEBOGEN cab versions, the Maxcab is getting a makeover. In addition to the driver seat, the layout and shape of the controls and the joysticks were also revised. By positioning the brackets directly on the seat, they are resonantly mounted and easy to reach. The ergonomic design of the SENNEBOGEN joysticks enables the sensitive control of all functions and prevents wrist fatigue. The tried-and-tested sliding door and the sturdy platform with railing provide maximum safety and comfort even when getting into the cab. The door opening is particularly large, which makes getting in and out of the Maxcab easier. Overall, the new driver area of the Maxcab cab can now be customized to make it more individual and ergonomic for each user.
