Twin Village Recycling in Depew, New York, processes ferrous and non-ferrous metals from industrial, commercial and private sources. The family-owned company has been operating in western New York State since 1946 and is now run by the third generation. What started as a small scrap business has developed into a modern recycling operation that aims to process its material streams more efficiently, move materials more safely and prepare them economically for onward transportation. The SENNEBOGEN 360 G plays a central role in this process: It feeds the processing plant, moves material around the site and loads trucks.
At Twin Village Recycling, incoming material passes through several shredding, sorting and processing stages. The aim is to extract the greatest possible value from ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
“The cleaner the material is, the higher its value,” explains Ted, a long-standing employee at Twin Village Recycling.
For the company, this means that material must be reliably fed into the plant, moved precisely and prepared for shipment. At the same time, operators need to work safely on a versatile recycling site while maintaining an overview of trucks, feed hoppers and work areas at all times.
At Twin Village Recycling, the SENNEBOGEN 360 G is operated daily by Michelle Jacobson. One of its key tasks is feeding the processing plant. The material is first placed into a feed hopper, then separated and processed before being prepared for shipment.
In addition to feeding the plant, the 360 G performs a wide range of other tasks across the entire site. Equipped with different attachments, including a bucket, fork tines and a multi-shell grab, the machine can move pallets, load trucks and transport materials within the facility.
As a result, Twin Village Recycling needs to switch between different machines less frequently throughout the day. Many work processes can be handled with a single machine.
“Our operation is much more efficient with one machine than with several different pieces of equipment,”
says Michelle Jacobson.
The SENNEBOGEN 360 G combines several tasks that are closely connected in recycling operations: picking up material, transporting it to the feed hopper, feeding the processing plant, moving material within the facility and loading trucks for onward transportation.

According to the operator, this versatility reduces operating and maintenance requirements and supports a more efficient material flow during day-to-day operations.
Good visibility is crucial when feeding material into hoppers and loading trucks. The hydraulically elevating Multicab of the SENNEBOGEN 360 G provides an improved overview of truck trailers, fill levels, material piles and work areas.
“That is a major safety advantage because it practically eliminates blind spots,” says Jacobson.
The improved all-round visibility helps operators place material precisely. They can monitor fill levels more effectively, avoid overloading and load trucks more accurately. Potential damage can also be avoided more easily because the operator has a direct view into the trailer.
For Twin Village Recycling, the partnership with SENNEBOGEN does not end with the delivery of the machine. During commissioning, SENNEBOGEN employees provided on-site training and ensured that all operators were able to use the machine and its functions safely.
Michelle Jacobson was particularly impressed that SENNEBOGEN provided a Spanish-speaking employee for the training. This enabled all team members to fully understand the instruction.
“That was an enormous help. I am really grateful for that,” says Jacobson.
Service also plays an important role after the purchase. According to Michael Marcezin, fast spare parts availability, competent customer service and straightforward maintenance make a significant contribution to strengthening the company's confidence in SENNEBOGEN.
Twin Village Recycling has been working with SENNEBOGEN for more than twenty years. In 2004, the company purchased its first SENNEBOGEN material handler after having operated older machines for many years.
“That was a real turning point for us,” recalls Michael Marcezin.
The increased efficiency enabled Twin Village Recycling to handle around **1,000 additional tons of material per month**. This experience had a lasting impact on the company's subsequent investment decisions.
The latest investment in the SENNEBOGEN 360 G follows the same objective: moving more material, making processes more efficient and developing the operation for the next generation.
“We liked the machine right away – both its appearance and its performance,” says Nick Marcezin about the SENNEBOGEN 360 G. “We are very happy with it.”
Twin Village Recycling can look back on almost eight decades of company history. At the same time, the family-owned business is clearly focused on the future. The company aims to further increase efficiency, boost production output and prepare the next generation for future challenges.
With the SENNEBOGEN 360 G, Twin Village Recycling has a flexible machine for feeding the processing plant, transporting material and loading trucks. The long-standing partnership with SENNEBOGEN supports the company in moving large quantities of material economically and reliably.
The SENNEBOGEN 360 G was specifically developed for demanding industrial and recycling applications. Typical areas of use include:

At Twin Village Recycling, the 360 G performs all of these tasks with a single machine, reducing the need to switch between machines during daily operations.
The 360 G combines the advantages of a wheel loader with those of a telehandler.

The machine was specifically developed for continuous industrial applications.
The telehandler can precisely pick up material, transport it to the feed hopper and feed it in a controlled manner.
At Twin Village Recycling, it performs the following tasks:

This creates a continuous material flow without frequent machine changes.
By combining several functions in one machine, it can help to:

Twin Village Recycling reports that previous investments in SENNEBOGEN machines had already increased monthly material throughput by around 1,000 tons. The new 360 G continues this development.
