On the Mönchhof site close to Frankfurt Airport, the commercial group REWE has had a new logistics centre built with a usage area of around 51,000 m2 for an investment sum of around € 30 million.
The general contractor for this large construction site was the largest German family-owned construction company - Max Bögl Bauservice GmbH and Co.KG. For lifting work on the site, the company's own SENNEBOGEN 5500 crawler crane was used, along with a brand new SENNEBOGEN 7700 with 300 t load from the renowned crane service provider Wiesbauer. Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG is impressed by the concept of the new SENNEBOGEN 300 t crawler crane and had the machine delivered to the construction site directly from the assembly plant in Straubing.
In total, an impressive 2,857 stand parts such as purlins, girders or joists weighing up to 42 t were lifted at this construction site between the end of February and the end of June. For this task, the 7700 was equipped with a 24.3 m main boom and 35.5 m fly boom. The 5500 was operated with a 24.3 m main boom and 29.9 m fly boom. The benefits of the SENNEBOGEN crawler cranes were particularly apparent at these construction sites. The movement under load, flexibility on the construction site, user-friendly operation and stability, as well as easy transportation are all arguments which impress in practice.
Statement:
"The new 7700 is a great machine. It offers outstanding lifting performance and has extremely good loads. A reliable and robust machine, which did a perfect job on the construction site." Johann Simon, Technical Services Finished Parts at Max Bögl.
