The new 340 G-series in the fire service equipment version

At the turn of the year, the volunteer fire brigade in Straubing was delighted to receive a special vehicle: the new 340G 4 t telehandler in a very unique design.

A 340 G telehandler has been standing alongside the fire-fighting trucks in the vehicle hall since December 23 2021. Of course, the blue light and siren were essential, and the typical fire brigade paintwork and lettering was also adapted to the special needs of volunteers in cooperation with with the technical department of the fire brigade and the SENNEBOGEN team in Wackersdorf.

The brigade has received professional instruction in all functions of the machine at the SENNEBOGEN Academy and the telehandler will now be in operation on Straubing’s roads at up to 40 km/h. The 340 G shows its strengths in particular in the removal of oil traces, loading and logistics tasks and in a wide range of applications for disaster relief, such as flooding.
