When demolishing an old supermarket in Hunderdorf, the construction company Stoabau relied on the powerful SENNEBOGEN 830 E Demolition Vario Tool. With its new digging equipment, versatile attachments and flexibility, the machine mastered all demolition and follow-up work – from selective demolition to foundation removal – efficiently and economically.
For the project in Hunderdorf, which involved the complete demolition of a supermarket building that had been vacant for years, the Lower Bavarian company Stoabau opted for the SENNEBOGEN 830 E Demolition Vario Tool, provided by the SENNEBOGEN Vertriebsgesellschaft. This machine was deliberately chosen thanks to its compact design, enormous flexibility of use and the newly introduced earth digging equipment with a 12-metre reach and matching 1.7 m³ digging bucket.
The first step was the selective demolition of the building. Steel beams, concrete parts and other building materials were efficiently separated and sorted using demolition grapples, pulverisers and shears. Thanks to the fully hydraulic quick coupler, the machine operator was able to switch between the required attachments in no time at all – without additional waiting times or conversion effort.
After dismantling the above-ground part of the building, a powerful hydraulic hammer was used. The SENNEBOGEN 830 E Demolition took care of demolishing the floor slab and smashing up the solid concrete foundations.
The Maxcab large-capacity cab with standard liftable cab ensured optimum visibility throughout the entire project, thereby increasing safety and providing ideal comfort for the operator.
A particular highlight of the project was the seamless transition from demolition to earthmoving: with its new digging bucket, the SENNEBOGEN demolition excavator also carried out the levelling of the ground and the excavation for the subsequent new construction. This enabled Stoabau to complete the entire project economically with just one machine – from the first demolition edge to the ready-to-build surface.
The new digging equipment with its selectable boom position enabled a digging depth of up to 5 metres – ideal for removing deep-lying foundation parts.
The operation in Hunderdorf demonstrates how flexibly the SENNEBOGEN 830 Demolition Vario Tool can respond to changing requirements in urban demolition. The combination of a robust machine design, quick attachment changes and high performance in demolition and digging not only saves time and money, but also significantly reduces logistics costs.
A real bonus for this project, according to Max Oischinger, driver of the 830 E Demolition and head of Stoabau: “With the SENNEBOGEN machine, we were able to complete every step of the demolition process in a very short time. Demolition and sorting went without a hitch. The icing on the cake was being able to pull out the foundations with the same machine at the end.”
