"INVESTING EVEN IN DIFFICULT TIMES" - NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER IS BEING BUILT

Those who drive along the motorway A3 past Straubing have probably already seen it. The shell of the new Customer Service Center is currently being built in Steinach. At the official laying of the foundation stone on July 10, the shareholders Erich and Walter Sennebogen explain what has already happened and what is to happen there in the future.

Investments are being made on a large scale: the new location with a state-of-the-art spare parts warehouse, workshops and offices for customer service and SENNEBOGEN Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG. with its rental and used machines will also be at home there in future.

"Around 25 million euros have been budgeted as an investment," adds Walter Sennebogen. In addition, further jobs are also to be created there in the medium term. In the future, remote maintenance work, digital support for the dealer network or intelligent spare parts logistics, all of which are to be introduced at the modern location, will be in line with the trend towards digitalization.

The first concrete pillars of the office building are already rising into the sky in the background and there is a hustle and bustle on the construction site when the partners Erich and Walter Sennebogen, together with their sons Anton, Sebastian and Alexander, go into action. The time capsule filled with coins, a daily newspaper and the construction plans is quickly sunk into the concrete basin. A layer of mortar follows under the attentive gaze of the invited guests from politics and building partners.

The green marble slab, which at the end is jointly hoisted onto the foundation stone, is intended as a constant reminder of the successful laying of the foundation stone at a prominent location. By mid 2021, the construction machines are to give way to green handling equipment and cranes, the buildings are to be filled with life and the Customer Service Center is to start operations.
