Day of Repentance and Prayer 2025

For the first time, SENNEBOGEN opened its doors to employees' children on the Day of Repentance and Prayer. A total of 34 schoolchildren accompanied their parents to work on this school holiday: 24 in Straubing and 8 in Wackersdorf. This gave the children an insight into their fathers' and mothers' daily routine and at the same time took some of the pressure off their parents.

Practical program with a fun factor

The children were divided into groups and went through a varied program: they were able to experiment and solve small tasks at competence stations such as a digital welding simulator or a gripper machine. The highlight: a 1.5 m high harbor excavator model that could be remote-controlled by the children. The factory tour provided exciting insights into production, and a journey of discovery through the history of SENNEBOGEN awaited the children in the museum. All the children received small prizes and certificates during a scavenger hunt.

Relieving parents - supporting children

With this campaign, SENNEBOGEN not only offered an educational experience for the children, but also supported the parents in their day-to-day work. A shared lunch rounded off the day and gave everyone the opportunity to exchange ideas and end the day together.

Focus on team spirit and commitment

The event was accompanied by experienced employees and trainees, who ensured safety, supervision and fun at all stations. "It's great to see how enthusiastically the children take part in all the activities. At the same time, we can relieve the parents who have to work on this school-free day - that's a win-win situation for everyone. My thanks also go to the employees and trainees who accompanied the children through the program with a lot of attention and commitment," says Klaus Stiglbauer, Head of HR & Fleet.
