The SENNEBOGEN EQ Balancer material handler from the modern G-Series tackles demanding material handling tasks with a long reach: scrap, timber, and port handling, ship loading and unloading, as well as bulk and general cargo handling. Thanks to the efficient SENNEBOGEN EQ Balance principle, you save up to 75% energy and operate emission-free with its electric engine.
Balance material handlers provide the foundation for an efficient, productive and cost-effective logistics system for scrap yards, ports and sawmills. Stationary balancer machines can cover a large area, replacing multiple mobile machines. Not only does this add logistical value, but it is also a plus in terms of occupational safety and reducing operating costs.
The equipment is perfectly balanced in any work position by the counterweight, which is directly connected to the equipment. This means that only a small amount of energy is needed to drive the equipment - even when large operating ranges and heavy loads are involved. Therefore balance material handlers can operate with just 50 % of the installed hydraulic and motor drive power compared with conventional machines. When combined with an electro-hydraulic drive, operating costs can be reduced by up to 75 % compared with conventional diesel run material handlers.
The balancer concept
Balancer by SENNEBOGEN - your advantages
01 Enormous energy savings
Counterweight moves coupling rod forward or backward with minimum energy input
More economical than conventional machines: Works with only 50% of the installed power thanks to intelligent force distribution
Smaller motor size and hydraulic components required: 50% lower energy costs than with conventional handling solutions
Service interval of 1000h contributes to low operating and total costs, among other things
02 Long range
One application for numerous tasks: Truck unloading / loading, sorting, feeding of plants.
Depending on the version: 3,140 to 5,025 m² coverage of the effective working area in stationary operation
Optimal view of the working area due to the advantageous cab position
The mobile version enlarges the working area according to the travel distance
Equipment lengths: up to 42 m available
03 Safety & Maintenance
Walk-in powerpack with all hydraulic and engine components
Clearly arranged connections in the engine room
Excellent accessibility to the cab and engine room thanks to precisely fitting platforms and railings
Clean, filtered air in the cab thanks to forced ventilation
Decoupled hydraulic cooler ensures optimum cooling of the engine and prevents dust from entering the engine compartment
Roof can be opened hydraulically for repair and maintenance work
04 Panoramic all-round view in the Portcab
Best visibility over the entire working area and into the ship's hull when unloading the ship
Comfortable, air-conditioned workplace for machine operators with sensitive joystick steering
