Theoretical and practical training in 2016: operator and technical training at SENNEBOGEN Akademie

SENNEBOGEN knows that every machine is only as good as the one operating it, so it has placed great importance on operator training. A motivated team of trainers teach operators how to master machines and basic maintenance, as well as provide important tips for ensuring disruption-free operation of SENNEBOGEN cranes and material handlers. The several-day training covers theory and practice, and is always tailored to the needs of the trainees. Whether it is becoming more familiar with a new machine, teaching new employees how to perform maintenance or strengthening technical know-how, the program at SENNEBOGEN Akademie offers the right solution to any need.

Operator license for material handlers and cranes: theoretical and practical training

A two-day seminar at SENNEBOGEN Akademie also provides the option of obtaining an operator license for cranes and material handlers. Trainees will gain the expertise and skill required to operate these machines and obtain their operator licenses for earth-moving machinery. Training is performed on a skill course and includes both driving as well as the safe positioning of loads during handling operation. The training course follows the conventions of the German Industrial Safety Ordinance, Technical Rules for Operational Safety (TRBS) 2111, German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) Regulation 1, DGUV Policy 309-003 and DGUV Policy 100-500. 

Upon completing a final theoretical and practical exam, trainees will obtain their operator license and will be considered "instructed persons".

Demonstration site for individual training under realistic conditions

The Akademie's own demonstration site also offers excellent opportunities for testing the machines in a wide variety of applications under real-world conditions. For this a harbor site with bulk goods hopper and an 8.0 meter height differential, as well as a cross-country course, are available. A variety of material handling machines and their attachments can be thoroughly tested on the firm's own scrapyard with approximately 150 t of steel scrap. Other material handling scenarios and crane deployments can be safely and instructively implemented on the extensive 24,000-m² site. Topics such as fuel-efficient traveling, handling in a manner that goes easy on the machine, and efficient use of resources can be demonstrated in an understandable manner. Not least, the Academy and demonstration site also offer opportunities for branding and public relations as a platform for literally experiencing the SENNEBOGEN machines.
