Since 1959, the name of Tiong Seng has been synonymous with expertise in building construction and civil engineering. Founded as a simple construction and transportation business, today the company focuses on its key competences in building management and the turnkey completion of demanding building projects. The company ensures the quality of its building materials by producing its own ready-made concrete and steel parts for building construction. At present, the company is working on a seven-story computer center made with ready-mix cement near the Ayar Rajah Crescent in the metropolis of Singapore, home to millions. Tiong Seng is using a model 5500 and model 7700 SENNEBOGEN crawler crane to handle logistics on the small construction site. The robust crawler cranes are extremely stable and highly flexible. The compact uppercarriage of the 7700 with a transport width of 3 m is the largest component which makes the 300 ton crane easy to maneuver and transport. The maximum 2.43 m width of all the boom sections as well as the Starlifter undercarriage makes transportation easy, including in a container.
The machines are equipped with powerful Caterpillar diesel engines that generate up to 313 kW of power. The booms can be set up in just a few steps thanks to the innovative self-assembly system. The wide walkways are an important safety feature. For the driver, the ergonomic maXcab comfort cabin offers a superior overview of the surroundings. The robust and easy-to-service design of SENNEBOGEN cranes makes maintenance simple and maximizes reliability in day-to-day operation. SENNEBOGEN crawler cranes have impressively demonstrated their durability in extreme climates such as deserts and the arctic.
The local sales and service partner, ALY Energy, handles regular servicing and the supply of replacement parts, and is the go-to contact on-site.
"The robust design and ease of use and servicing makes SENNEBOGEN crawler cranes the right machine for the job," confirms Tiong Seng
To build the seven-story computer center, Tiong Seng is using one model 5500 and one model 7700 SENNEBOGEN crawler crane.
