Last Saturday, the mechanical engineering company SENNEBOGEN hosted a family day at its site in Wackersdorf. More than 2000 guests, including employees from all five sites - Straubing, Steinach and Wackersdorf - came together to celebrate in perfect weather. The day offered numerous highlights for young and old and was marked by two special anniversaries: 33 years of the Wackersdorf site and 20 years of SENNEBOGEN Maschinentechnik GmbH & Co. KG.
A large number of food trucks catered for the physical well-being of visitors, offering a culinary variety ranging from pizza to Bavarian specialties. At the same time, there were numerous activities for the whole family, such as the opportunity to visit the plants and exhibits and gain exciting insights into the production processes of the material handlers and telescopic handlers. A special highlight was the opportunity to drive the machines yourself under expert guidance and compete in various skill tests. For the younger guests, there were bouncy castles, trampolining and face painting.
Managing Director Alexander Scherer was visibly delighted with the large turnout and the positive atmosphere: "It fills me with great pride to see so many happy faces today. The Family Day not only offers us the opportunity to give our employees and their families a look behind the scenes, but also to celebrate our successes together and grow together."
In addition to the attractions, the day was also an opportunity to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the Wackersdorf site . Here, SENNEBOGEN primarily produces material handlers up to 80 tons as well as electric machines and telescopic handlers. The 20th anniversary of SENNEBOGEN Maschinentechnik GmbH & CoKG, which also plays a key role in Wackersdorf, was also celebrated.
With the Family Day, SENNEBOGEN once again underlined its commitment to the region and its employees. A successful day that will certainly be remembered for a long time.
