SENNEBOGEN presents new simulator for port machines

The new SENNEBOGEN simulator for port material handling machines will make its debut at Breakbulk Europe 2026 in Rotterdam and will further expand the SENNEBOGEN Academy’s training portfolio for operator qualification and machine training. Combining immersive operator training with professional instruction, the simulator enables faster learning progress while maximizing safety.

Realistic Operator Training

The new SENNEBOGEN simulator has been specifically developed for training operators in port handling applications. Fully functional original controls, including the operator's seat, create a realistic and immersive operating experience. A variety of operational scenarios for bulk and general cargo handling provide realistic training conditions.

Simulator training allows operators to practice routine machine movements as well as challenging or critical operating situations without any risk to personnel, equipment, or ongoing operations.

Professional Training with Measurable Results

A key focus of the concept is the combination of hands-on operator training and professional instruction delivered by a certified SENNEBOGEN trainer. Using the simulator’s training software, individual training sessions can be monitored, analyzed, and evaluated in detail. This creates a measurable and structured training program that accelerates the learning process. At the same time, simulator training can be conducted independently of weather conditions and ongoing operations, eliminating machine downtime and significantly increasing training efficiency.

By using real machine components, including joysticks, a seat, and the SENcon control system, the SENNEBOGEN simulator provides a realistic and immersive operating experience.

Flexible Deployment – At SENNEBOGEN or at the customer's site

The simulator is available both at SENNEBOGEN’s training facility in Straubing and as a mobile solution directly at customer locations. This flexibility allows training programs to be tailored to individual operational requirements and schedules.
