SENNEBOGEN is celebrating its new Plant 2

From October 14th to 17th, 2008, more than 3,500 guests have found their way into our new SENNEBOGEN Plant 2 to celebrate this milestone in our company's history together with our management and employees.

In numerous company tours, our customers and partners could get an impression of the capabilities and opportunities opened up by our new Plant 2. Our invited guests were deeply impressed by the sheer dimensions of the production buildings and the generous spaces surrounding them.

These days were characterized by a relaxed atmosphere in which interesting talks were held, existing contacts were cultivated, new ones were established and, not to be forgotten, people just had a party together. The framework for this unique inauguration ceremony was provided by a brilliant evening event with impressive artistics, informative speeches and Bavarian music complemented by exquisite food and drinks.

Going On One's Own Way – Sennebogenstraße (Sennebogen Street)
During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Erich Sennebogen sen. was awarded an honour of its own kind. To pay tribute to the excellent achievements of the Sennebogen family of entrepreneurs and to express the big gratitude for selecting exactly this location, the access road leading into the new Plant 2 will be named Sennebogenstraße (Sennebogen Street). The head of the regional political administration, Alfred Reisinger, Lord Mayor Markus Pannermayr and Mayor Krä symbolically handed over a street sign with the new name to Mr. Erich Sennebogen sen., Erich Sennebogen jun. and Walter Sennebogen. It was especially the lifetime achievement of Erich Sennebogen sen., the visionary entrepreneur, that was honoured. With a tremendous entrepreneurial performance and a great deal of passion, the company founder has, over a period of 56 years, established a group of companies with more than 1,000 employees and a turnover of 360 million Euros. Erich Sennebogen sen. expressed his gratitude towards the initiators of this wonderful present. "I am very proud that I live to actually feel this great honour. Normally, a street is named after you when you no longer dwell among the living”, said Erich Sennebogen sen.
