This well-established company was founded in 1958 and has developed successfully over the years through healthy growth and expansion. Today, Wiesbauer is a leading name in Germany in the field of cranes, transport and assembly and is now under the management of Thomas and Jochen Wiesbauer, the 3rd generation of the Wiesbauer family to run the business.
One of the first tasks for the SENNEBOGEN 5500 Star-Lifter was the construction of the new logistics centre for Fressnapf Tiernahrungs GmbH in Feuchtwangen. With a total investment sum of 16 million euro, the distribution centre is one of the largest investments made by Fressnapf GmbH to date. Markets in South Germany are supplied from the mid-Franconia logistics centre.
The Max Bögl Group with headquarters in Neumarkt is the general contractor responsible for this major project. The SENNEBOGEN 5500 was rented from Wiesbauer complete with driver specifically for the heavy lifting work. With a boom configuration of 29.9 m on the main boom and the same length on the luffing jib, the machine was used to position solid walls, main girders, frost barriers, supports and other heavy components safely and precisely, including parts weighing way over 30 t. With its ability to move and turn safely under full load, the SENNEBOGEN 5500 offers maximum flexibility on construction sites. The extremely high loads are also impressive, particularly on the luffing jib, as is the flexibility of the boom system and the straightforward techno logy, enabling the machine to offer maximum availability and reliability.
The ease of transportation between construction sites and the self-assembly system of the SENNEBOGEN Star-Lifter crawler crane make it an extremely costeffective solution that can be deployed almost instantly. „We are extremely satisfied with the two new SENNEBOGEN crawler cranes. The robust, durable design and straightforward technology are of particular importance for us in the rental field”, said Marco Wilhelm, authorized representative at Wiesbauer.
Heavy lifting work is carried out safely, quickly and precisely with the 5500 crawler crane.
