The English county of Staffordshire has recently ordered two of the latest generation of SENNEBOGEN 305 C+ machines for recycling centres in the Stafford and Cannock districts. These are used with 2.5 m³ shovels and lifting forks for loading HGVs and containers.
Stone, a town in the county, has already had a SENNEBOGEN 305 delivered by the sales partner Hassell & Sons. The decision to take two more SENNEBOGEN 305 was taken quickly due to the positive experiences with the first machine. This robust and reliable all-rounder is extremely flexible in use thanks to its hydraulic quickchange system.
The boom, which can be telescoped out to 7.3 m, brings just as many advantages to these applications as the high-rise comfort cab, which can be raised to a viewing height of 4 m. The operators have an excellent view into the work area and can carry out the necessary work more quickly and, above all, more safely. The all-wheel drive, combined with all-wheel steering and three steering modes, guarantee topclass manoeuvrability.
„The many ways that the 305 can be used means that there is no need to use other vehicles and can react flexibly to each need. We can, for example, pull containers with specially made hooks and a short time later load HGVs or work with the lifting fork”, said Fred Marsden, manager of the Staffordshire recycling centres.
