The latest generation of the 730 Pick & Carry material handler rounds out SENNEBOGEN's timber handlers and boasts a compact size, a sophisticated machine concept and numerous variants. A powerful driving machine with high safe working loads, the new 730 is just at home at the sorting line at the saw mill as it is with a trailer in the lumber yard.
With the new edition of the 730 of the current E-Series, SENNEBOGEN launches a machine with 33 t tare weight and especially impressive compact dimensions and maximum stability in demanding timber handling. For decades, the reliable timber handling machines of Bavarian manufacturer SENNEBOGEN have proven themselves to be ideal in demanding practical use, and offer extensive ranges and convenient operation in addition to robust mechanics.
As a mobile timber handling machine, the SENNEBOGEN 730 is at home in the saw mill and in the lumber yard. Drive is provided by a powerful 168-kW diesel engine. With a two-range all-wheel travel drive, the machine can not only travel at up to 20 km/h, it can also tow heavy trailers up to 25 t with ease. The new SENNEBOGEN 730 is also optimally equipped for use on demanding terrain, inclines and difficult terrain. Wide dual tires and a supplemental support blade ensure stability in every position. This allows the 730 to integrate seamlessly into the range of timber handling machines from the 723 to the 735. With a stacking height of up to 10 m and safe working load of 4.2 t at a working radius of 10.5 m, the machine is suitable for quick reloading and sorting as well as stacking. Compared directly to wheeled loaders and High-Lifter solutions, the SENNEBOGEN Pick & Carry system not only saves space, it also saves time. Thanks to the 360 degree infinitely rotating uppercarriage, the machine can always be moved forward out of the sorting lanes, eliminating the need for complex maneuvering. This also makes it significantly easier to unload trucks.
With a tail swing of 2.76 m and a width of 3.30 m, the 730 remains compact and easy to operate despite its capability. Special attention was paid to the safety features of the machine during design and development. A newly designed access ladder in combination with the peripheral uppercarriage railing and the extensive step grids ensure maximum work safety. A massive, full protective grating is installed on the cab as a standard feature and can be supplemented with an armored glass pane. An extensive travel drive protection on the undercarriage is optionally available.
The proven, roomy Maxcab comfort cab is used in this machine class for the first time. For the operator, the 1.0-m fixed elevated cab offers an ideal overview of the equipment and work area. The central hinge of the boom keeps the center of gravity at the middle of the machine. This ensures an excellent view to the right, as well as stability when traveling under load. An extensive lighting package and peripheral cameras offer the operator additional support during work. Equipment features such as the shuttle function and the SENCON control system with intuitive operation ensure fatigue-free and comfortable working. A well-though-out maintenance concept offers optimum access to the components and simplifies daily maintenance.
The SENNEBOGEN 730 of the new E-Series is the latest addition to the Pick & Carry line of timber handling machine for use on the sorting line and in the lumber yard. In addition to a powerful drivetrain, convenient reach and optimal overview, the machine boasts a compact size and ease of use and maintenance.
