New training professions in Wackersdorf

It is not only the apprentices who are developing, but also the training field itself. The section manager at the welding shop, Sebastian Schüller, not only successfully trained as a metal master tradesman and welding specialist, but also obtained his trainer’s certificate. As a certified trainer, he is now able to supervise the new training profession of welding technology construction mechanic in Wackersdorf and is already looking forward to welcoming his protégés soon. In addition to the welding technology construction mechanic, the training program in Wackersdorf will also be supplemented by the profession of industrial mechanic from September onwards, meaning that training can be provided at the site in seven different professions in the future – both commercial and industrial. Over the past five years, the number of apprentices at the Wackersdorf site has even doubled as a result of these developments.
