630 Crawler HD
The increasing demand for natural gas as a fossil fuel and simultaneously decreasing production in Europe require increased imports of natural gas from Siberia. It is anticipated that as much as 55 billion cubic meters of natural gas will flow to Germany annually. Currently the extensive pipe network, which starts in Greifswald, is growing through Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and Lower Saxony toward Hamburg. With a SENNEBOGEN 630 R, Hölscher Wasserbau GmbH is digging a thousand wells to lower groundwater along the pipeline route. The responsible parties do not regret the decision to use a 630 for this activity. Due to its compact dimensions and extensive power reserves the machine is ideally suited for off-road use. With a width of just 2.75 m, the SENNEBOGEN 630 is easy to transport on flat-bed trucks, and thanks to its telescoping crawler chassis the machine is safe and stable on the construction site.
Initially the duty cycle crawler crane with casing oscillator introduces the pipes with diameters up to 1500 mm. Core clearance is executed with the freefall grapple to a well depth of 12 m, then the drainage pipe is inserted. All of these work steps can be executed quickly and flexibly with the SENNEBOGEN duty cycle crawler crane. Thus sinking of an individual well takes just a few minutes and the machine can be quickly changed over and further transported. The SENNEBOGEN 630 HD combines high performance with optimal flexibility and economy. In this regard, operators praise the high reliability of the two 9 t freefall winches, with which they can work safely and quickly. A powerful 3-circuit hydraulic system ensures reliable operation of the attachments with up to 330 bar operating pressure. The maXcab comfort cab with ergonomic air-suspension, comfort seat, and sliding door offers the operator a pleasant work environment.
With a SENNEBOGEN 630 HD, Hölscher Wasserbau GmbH, drills wells for construction of the Northern European Natural Gas Line and digs to a depth of 12 m.
