SENNEBOGEN presents timber harvesting solutions at Interforst in Munich from 18 to 22 July
As the leading international trade fair, the Interforst attracts a large specialist audience and interested guests from 18 to 22 July 2018 to Munich. The Bavarian mechanical engineering company SENNEBOGEN is exhibiting a unique machine for timber harvesting and tree felling with the current SENNEBOGEN 718 E forestry telescopic crane. Also on display at the stand will be a new tracked harvester, the Hannibal T50 from Impex, which was developed on the basis of a SENNEBOGEN material handling machine.
SENNEBOGEN 718 E: forestry telescopic crane with 13 m reach
With the SENNEBOGEN 718 E, which has been used successfully worldwide for several years as a forestry telescopic crane for timber harvesting and landscape maintenance, SENNEBOGEN offers a comfortable all-round machine that combines the advantages of a mobile machine with the advantages of a telescopic crane. The innovative machine concept is ideally suited for felling work, tree and landscape conservation or loading activities. Equipped with a harvester head, the 718 E is also used for cable car harvesting in steep terrain. With a reach of 13 m and a cab that can be raised by 2.70 m, the machine covers a comfortable operating radius. A variety of attachments from harvester heads to grab saws or mulchers make the 718 E a multifunctional all-rounder in forestry and landscape maintenance thanks to its high hydraulic power. A selection of possible attachments will also be shown by the manufacturer van Osch at the joint exhibition stand.
New crawler harvester Hannibal T50 from Impex at Interforst for the first time
The Lower Bavarian manufacturer Impex Forstmaschinen GmbH has long relied on SENNEBOGEN machines as basic equipment for their tracked harvesters specially developed for demanding forestry applications. The newly developed crawler harvester T50 is the result of a joint project - another highlight at our trade fair stand. This machine is able to remove entire trees upright, lay them out and cut them to length, protecting the soil and the stand. The tilting superstructure with tilt joint pays off on gradients, and thanks to the telescopic crawler track, the machine can not only be moved easily on the paths, but also scores points during transport and with maximum stability in the reverse aisle.
